What is included?

During the initial visit, Dr Wickenhauser will:

  1. Review your history and discuss your treatment goals with you

  2. Perform a physical examination

  3. Make a diagnosis

  4. Suggest a treatment approach

  5. Perform the initial treatment

The initial visit is the most important appointment we will have with you. This hour-long visit includes a thorough investigation of your health history, an understanding of your goals, a diagnosis of your current condition, and importantly - your first treatment! We devote this much time to you so we can treat the cause of your complaint, not the symptoms.

Our goal is to maximize treatment efficacy to fix your issue, so you don’t have to keep coming back!

Are you covered?

We use direct billing for patients with valid health coverage. Luckily, many employer health care plans include chiropractic care. If you are covered by your employer, check to see if chiropractic treatment is part of your plan. If it isn’t, ask your supervisor or manager if there is a possibility for the plan to be changed.

If you’re not covered, look into Alberta Blue Cross and other individual healthcare plans. Many include coverage for chiropractic care, and you’ll be happy when your teeth need cleaning or your eyes need a check-up as well.

Need help affording the care you need?

If the cost of chiropractic treatment is stopping you from seeking help, please discuss your concerns with us. Finances shouldn’t keep you from the care you need.

Real Relief is Worth the Investment

In Canada, we’re used to seeing a doctor without paying at the door—but that doesn’t mean our healthcare is truly free. And more often than not, it’s focused on managing symptoms with medication or injections.

Chiropractic care offers something different. It’s hands-on, personalized, and aimed at treating the root cause—not just covering up the pain.

When you invest in this kind of care, you're choosing long-term relief, better movement, and a healthier future. That’s the hands-on difference.
